The Islamic Endowments Development Department

The Islamic Endowments Development Department is the investment arm of the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites that works to develop endowments properties and funds to achieve the best return for the benefit of endowments.

Objectives:

• Develop and invest in movable and immovable endowments funds and maximize their revenues.
• Serve the local community by supporting endowments programs in various sectors.
• Contribute to achieving comprehensive social and economic development.
• Raise the level of institutional performance and improve the quality of service to achieve public satisfaction.

Areas of Work:

• The Department implements investment projects on endowments land and invests endowments properties in a way that complies with their nature and in partnership with the public and private sectors to achieve the best return for the benefit of the endowments.
• It also contributes to supporting social and economic development in Jordan, creating jobs, and fighting poverty.

• Investment in endowments properties
• Upkeep and management of endowment properties
• Transferring endowments revenues to the endowments programs department for spending according to the conditions of the donors
