Jordanian Zakat Fund

Jordanian Zakat Fund is responsible for managing zakat and charity in Jordan. It collects zakat and distributes it to those who are eligible through zakat committees located throughout the kingdom. The fund also raises awareness about the religious importance of zakat and its role in community development.

Objectives:

Collect zakat and distribute it to its rightful recipients.
Assist in the establishment of rehabilitation projects for poor families.
Contribute to helping needy students, sick people, orphans, and strangers.
Provide monthly assistance to some poor families.
Form zakat collection committees, supervise them, and follow up on their work.

Main services:

Aid: Providing financial and in-kind assistance to needy families.
Orphan Sponsorship: Sponsoring orphans and providing for their needs to live a decent life.
School Bag: Providing a school bag for poor students containing everything they need during the school year, including stationery.
Healthcare: Providing healthcare for the poor and needy through the fund's medical centers.
Rehabilitation and Productive Projects: Implementing rehabilitation and productive projects that aim to provide income for poor families, enabling them to live with dignity and eliminate the need for begging. This also reduces unemployment and contributes to economic development in the community.
