His Majesty King Abdullah II attended a religious event today, Sunday, at Al-Husseiniya Palace in commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, which falls on Monday.
During the event, reciters chanted verses from the Holy Quran, including Al-Fatiha, Ya-Sin, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and Al-Nas. This was followed by supplications praising the Prophet.
In the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, verses from the Burdah poem by Imam Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Busiri, were recited.
The event was attended by several princes, heads of authorities, senior officials, and a gathering of Islamic scholars and Christian clergy.
